Michael Maskell is of Abenaki descent, a member of the St. Francis Band/Missisquoi Nation. In May (Memorial Day weekend) of 2010 By the Shore Embroidery was proudly invited to Abenaki Heritage Days in Swanton, VT as a vendor to sell our beautifully crafted Tribal sweatshirts. While there we were also invited to participate in the Honoring Native Ways gathering in Isle La Mott,VT. on August 22, 2010.
